Community Finance Challenge

translating entrepreneurial funding structures to community development

Through the Community Finance Challenge Deutsche Bank and MIT issued a call for new proposals to design an organization (i.e. CDFI) capable of using finance to promote local economic growth, address income inequality, and catalyze a more prosperous future for cities and towns. I led a team in developing a vision for a 21st century community development finance institution centered around borrowing elements of the modern venture-backed entrepreneurial ecosystem and remittance trends to build communities.
